Our Origins
In 2000, George Kelly and Bob Jeffrey recognised the potential of promoting a range of quality, low cost electrical accessories and First Stop opened a small store at Nerang on the Gold Coast.
The business proved to be quite successful and after six months a decision was made to purchase a building in Nerang to handle the increase in business.
In 2003 First Stop opened a second store in Tweed Heads and Peter Sales joined Bob & George as a partner in this outlet.

First Stop's aim has always been to provide the electrical contracting industry with a range of quality, low cost alternative products that were not available from the long established Australian brands.
From a small product base First Stop now has an extensive range of items that offer the electrical industry a serious, low cost alternative to the traditional brands.
Although the company's main customer base is located around the Gold Coast/Northern NSW region, First Stop's reputation has attracted customers along the eastern seaboard from Cairns to Southern NSW and west to Dalby, Tamworth and Wagga Wagga.

Owners Bob Jeffrey, George Kelly and Peter Sales boast a wealth of knowledge and they are well supported by Justin Myer (Tweed).
The admin side of the business is also important and all account enquiries are handled quickly and efficiently by Melissa Jeffrey (Nerang) and Rhonda Kelly (Tweed).
